Jena Jena Sussex, MD Hometown: San Clemente, CA Undergraduate: USC Med School: USC Hobbies: Surfing, vegetarian cooking, exercise classes, yoga, spending time with friends and family. Why LAC+USC: More than once in medical school I met a patient who had been told by an outside hospital that they likely had cancer, but since they didn't have insurance they couldn't be worked up or treated there. I realized that I always wanted to work at the hospital where patients knew they could come regardless of insurance, citizenship or socioeconomic status.
